THE
THEMES

01

ARTICULATION

Modern communication and soft skills that cultivate poised articulation of thoughts and ideas are included in branches of skills sets deemed by NEP 2020 as the kind of education that will be required for the 21st century. A key objective of this programme is to equip young adults with the ability to express themselves with confidence and clarity. From confident introductions to basic public speaking skills, clear communications of ideas, and the ability to articulate thoughts and ideas go a long way into building young people up for thriving careers and leadership roles later in life. From becoming confident speakers, more active listeners and better presenters, the modules of this programme will focus on instilling public speaking skills, interpersonal skills and improved body language.

02

RESILIENCE

In order to prepare young adults for life and its uncertainties, they need to be empowered with rational thinking to accept change, bounce back from setbacks, and embrace their emotions with empathy, courage and resilience, as envisioned by NEP 2020. Programmes that help identify personal strengths and improvement areas go a long way into instilling healthy coping skills and resilience needed to thrive amidst the challenges of life and careers. From learning to question a state of affairs, to deconstructing an idea, identifying the root causes of a problem, and incorporating rationale in decision making, the modules will focus on nurturing curious and critical thinking mindsets.

03

KINDNESS

As stated in NEP 2024, “the purpose of the education system is to develop good human beings capable of rational thought and action, possessing compassion and empathy”. The ability to be and stay kind in the face of adversity, opposition and setbacks, is a human trait that encompasses all moral values. From practising cleanliness to respecting difference of interests and backgrounds, and imbibing a spirit of inclusivity, the modules will be focussed on nurturing good and global citizenship early on.
